SAT / ACT Testing at BMHS

Standardized testing is an important factor in admission decisions at most four-year colleges and universities.

Both the ACT and the SAT tests are designed to be taken in the spring of your junior year in high school. As a college preparatory school, we require that every student takes a minimum of one test. The ACT test will be administered to ALL juniors on April 19th.

If you are not satisfied with your results you will be able to take the tests again in the fall of your senior year at a testing site in the greater Denver area. You are able to take both tests as many times as you want. The testing centers do not recommend taking either test more than three times.

In addition to the SAT or ACT, some colleges will require the SAT II subject tests. Please check with the colleges you have in mind to see if the SAT II subject tests are required.
