VISIT MACHEBEUF

Green & Gold Days
One of the best ways to find the right high school fit is to visit on a shadow day.  Machebeuf’s shadow program is known as “Green & Gold Days.”  We encourage prospective students to visit Machebeuf and attend classes, eat lunch, and experience Machebeuf as a current student does with a Student Ambassador host.  Come and spend a day with the Machebeuf family!  We invite you to be our guest on a Green & Gold Day.

To schedule a Green & Gold Day, please complete and sign a Request Form and return it via mail, via email, via fax, or in person to the Office of Admissions.

2011-2012 Green & Gold Days – Spring Semester 2012

We designate specific days on our school calendar as Green & Gold Days.  The schedule for the Spring Semester 2012 is:

Tuesday, January 24, 2012
Thursday, January 26, 2012
Tuesday, February 7, 2012
Thursday, February 9, 2012
Thursday, March 8, 2012
Thursday, March 15, 2012
Thursday, April 19, 2012
Thursday, April 26, 2012

Because of our busy school schedule, we are unable to accept shadow day requests outside of the Green & Gold Day schedule.

Green & Gold Day Schedule
The shadow day starts at 8:00am and goes to 12:30pm.  Students will be paired with a Machebeuf Student Ambassador host and will attend four class periods, enjoy lunch, and meet students, faculty, and staff during their time at Machebeuf.

Important Notes for Green & Gold Day Guests

What to Wear
Students visiting from a Catholic or private school should wear their school uniform for their Green & Gold Shadow Day.  Students visiting from a school without a uniform should wear khaki pants with a white polo shirt tucked in and secured at the waist with a belt.  Students should also wear seasonally-appropriate shoes.

What to Bring
In the event that a shadow host has a test or quiz during a particular class period, visiting students should bring homework, something to study, or a book with them.
Students should bring a sack lunch or at least $5.00 to purchase lunch in our Commons.

Tour Machebeuf
The best way to learn more about Machebeuf is to see it first hand.  We invite you to visit us during the school year.  Our Director of Admissions is happy to meet with you and your family to discuss our academic, faith formation, athletic, and extracurricular programs while showing you our classrooms, library, Commons, gym, and other facilities on our 11-acre campus.

If you would like to tour Machebeuf, please contact our Director of Admissions to schedule an appointment.
