Transfer Student Admissions
A transfer applicant must be in good standing at their current educational institution. Applications for transfer students are accepted throughout the year. Machebeuf is able to admit transfer students for the first semester (August enrollment) or second semester (January enrollment). Completed applications for Priority Consideration should be submitted by December 1st for January semester entrance or May 1st for August semester entrance so that each request may be reviewed carefully. Transfer applicants who submit application materials after the Priority Deadline will only be considered on a space-available basis.
Transfer applicants must submit a completed application, including standardized test scores, two letters of recommendation from core subject teachers, essays, and official transcripts. Transfer students who have submitted a complete application will be invited to interview with a faculty member or administrator. The applicant must be accompanied by at least one custodial parent/guardian for the interview.
Transfer students must be able to fit into the school's religious and academic programs for the particular school year. All transfer students admitted to Machebeuf will automatically be placed on probation for the entire school year during which s/he has been admitted. The terms of this probation are that s/he may not earn any semester failures in any course and that the student not become a discipline problem. Violation of either of these terms may result in the transfer student's dismissal from Machebeuf.
Freshman Transfer Student for January Admission
Priority Deadline: December 1st
Application Requirements:
- Application Forms
- Official Transcripts from 7th grade, 8th grade, and current year grades
- Any prior testing (i.e., HSPT, CSAP)
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from teachers of current year core subjects
- Interview (Students will be contacted upon receipt of a completed application.)
Sophomore Transfer Student for August Admission
Priority Deadline: May 1st
Application Requirements:
- Application Forms
- Official Transcripts from 7th grade, 8th grade, and 9th grade
- Any prior testing (i.e., HSPT, CSAP)
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from teachers of current year core subjects
- Interview (Students will be contacted upon receipt of a completed application.)
Sophomore Transfer Student for January Admission

Junior/Senior Transfer Student
Transfer students are generally not admitted after the start of their junior year. Machebeuf will consider transfer applications from Juniors and Seniors that are transferring from another Catholic high school and/or as part of a family relocation. Families of Junior/Senior transfer applicants should contact the Enrollment Management office to schedule an appointment to discuss possible enrollment.
