Thank you for your interest in Bishop Machebeuf High School! For over 50 years, we have provided a faith-based education in the rich traditions of the Catholic Church. Our school is home to a community of over 380 students that continues to grow every year.
Our plan for building for the future:
Founded in 1958, Machebeuf is named after Colorado’s first bishop, Joseph P. Machebeuf. As one of two Archdiocesan high schools, we
serve the Denver Metro area as a coeducational, college preparatory high school located on an 11-acre campus in the vibrant Lowry development.
Our school draws the most diverse socioeconomic and culturally varied student population of any Catholic high school in Denver. Machebeuf has
been recognized as one of the Top 50 Catholic High Schools in the United States by the Cardinal Newman Society’s Catholic High School
Honor Roll in 2006, 2007, 2008-2009, and 2012-2013. Through our faith formation programs, students grow deeper in relationship with Jesus
Christ and continue to discover the history and tradition of their Catholic roots. Over 70% of our students participate in our regionally
recognized athletic programs. We serve our community through outreach and support of various causes throughout the school year.
Our graduates go on to attend nationally-recognized colleges, universities, and service academies.
Machebeuf is not just a school. We are a family that learns together, plays together, and prays together. We invite you to review our
Admissions pages and learn more about the Machebeuf family. If you would like to visit Bishop Machebeuf High School, schedule a Green
& Gold shadow day, or have any questions, please contact us. We look forward to meeting you and showing you all that Machebeuf has
