Retreats
Machebeuf’s class retreats provide a perfect opportunity for the students of Bishop Machebeuf to get away from the busyness of life. Every retreat is focused on deepening the student's relationship with Christ. Talks are given by outside speakers, faculty, and staff.
Steubenville of the Rockies Youth Conference
Steubenville Youth Conferences are about inviting youth into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit through a call to embrace the heart and mission of the Church. This retreat is typically done right before the school year begins. It is a “going deeper” retreat that is not mandatory, but highly encouraged. It was held August 12-14, 2011 at Ponderosa Retreat Center in Larkspur, CO.
Freshmen Retreat
Machebeuf Freshmen are given the opportunity to come together in prayer, mass, and adoration for a one-day retreat. This year's Freshmen retreat will be held on March 26, 2012 at the JPII Center.Sophomore Retreat
Our sophomores are sent on a 2-day retreat during the Spring semester and it is their first overnight retreat with Machebeuf. This year's Sophomore retreat will be held on March 11-12, 2012.Junior Retreat
Machebeuf’s juniors are split up on two separate retreats, one for the boys and one for the girls. This split gives the retreat a unique depth and challenges each gender to grow as sons and daughters of God. These overnight retreats will be held February 12-13, 2012 at Covenant Heights Camp and Retreat Center.Senior Retreat
The senior class comes together for the last time on retreat. It is a great opportunity to become closer to Christ and to grow as a class. The senior retreat was held October 23-25 2011 at St. Malo Retreat Center.
Faculty Retreat
At BMHS, it is a priority for the faculty as well as the students, to have time to retreat and to reconnect with the Lord. The faculty has a one-day retreat together every year to remain rooted in our Catholic identity. This year's faculty retreat will be held on March 16, 2012 at the Mother Cabrini Shrine.
