Josh Applegate and Eduard Lugo
and bids farewell to Pete Burds
This school year marks a time of transition for Bishop Machebeuf as our previous Student Life Director and Campus Minister, Pete Burds, follows the Lord's call to the priesthood and is entering Seminary this fall at St. Paul Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Burds will be studying for his home diocese of Rockford, Illinois. Please keep him in your prayers!
Josh Applegate - Director of Student Life
Josh Applegate is joining us as the Director of Student Life. Josh is a recent graduate of the Franciscan University of Steubenville and a native of Houston, Texas. Josh is looking forward to serving the Machebeuf community through the motto of St. Padre Pio, "Pray, hope and don't worry."
Eduard Lugo - Director of Campus Ministry
Eduard Lugo is joining us as the Director of Campus Ministry. Eduard has a long history with Bishop Machebeuf as an alumni of the class of 2001. He graduated from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and spent the previous four years as the Director of High School Youth Ministry at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Valrico, Florida. He is very excited to be back home in Denver and serving his Alma Mater.
