2009 Season Recap
The Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes went 11 and 8 in the regular season splitting with Metro league rivals Faith Christian and Peak to Peak. Click Here for complete results.
The Buffaloes went on to in the District Playoffs as the 17th seed in the State on May 2nd at Eaton High School. The first game against Trinidad ended up as a win for the Buffaloes 14-8. Highlights include Cody Simmering pitching a complete game and John Gates belting a towering home run to left in the 5th.
With the win against Trinidad Miners, the Buffaloes move in to the “Sweet 16” bracket of the 3A State playoffs by facing the Eaton Reds on their home field. Unfortunately our Buffaloes dropped this game and ended the 2009 season with a 10-0 loss to the eventual State Champions from Eaton.
Our Buffaloes ended the season with a respectable 12 wins and 9 losses. The 2010 season looks promising and all baseball players are working out to ensure their success!
